nooooooooice

When I first heard this, I was like "Is Kevin using synths??" then I quickly realized you were and shed a single tear. Part of that story is true.

But yeah, good synth use. The bloom of the audio gets a little excessive in the later part of the song. By that, I mean, you kinda blow out the speakers a little. Nothing that a little compression and volume control can't fix, though. Very solid song. Very very solid. Anybody who complains that it's repeditive is stupid. Keep it up! I can tell you're settling into a style.

SensoryDecay responds:

Thanks steven, can't wait to see what you did with the collab song man.

Nice

I enjoyed this a lot! What happened to the other 124 pianos.. I'm kidding, I'm sure that's the tempo, right? Well, whatever it means, I like it. Something like this deserves a proper title and some backup material! Keep it up.

Hellz Yeah

The Ambient section has been in need of more tracks like this. True chill ambience, instead of all the light-hearted trash that some NG artists try to pass off as ambient music. The heart of this one is the subtle guitar play in the middle of the song. It's pretty damn magical. Definitely your most focused track to date. It would benefit from the incorporation of another instrument though (or wacky sound fx!)

SensoryDecay responds:

thanks again Gill, you support me once again!

yeeeuh!

Dreamy! I like this one a lot. I especially like the reverse parts and all the special fx in it. The bass holds the whole thing together, so even though the main part does meander, it doesn't really feel like it wanders from the song. Good, unique ambient rock as always, my friend.

SensoryDecay responds:

:D I can always rely on Gillevolution for some good ol' support. Thank you as usual. THis and I See In dark, a song i havnt released yet on newgrounds, are my most favorite tracks, and I beileve my best work.

ALthough The OUtro (really The Intro) does start to stray near the end, it ends thankfully before it goes to far. I need to take some time, sit down and crank out a really good tune though. Thanks again for the support man, I can always count on ya!

woo!

Haha, I unknowingly listened to this about 8 times in a row while talking to you on AIM, and I was bobbing my head the whole time! It never gets old! Good work!

ah very nice

Even better than the version you showed me the other day! The precussion, although minimal, sounds very natural. Almost sounds like it was played live. Gotta love that. Well.. you've already heard my opinions on everything else :D Keep up the good work.

Kid2Will responds:

thanks man. i got a new laptop now, finally. and i am saving up to actually buy FL this time.

why isn't this reviewed yet...

Totally dig'n it! First of all, let me say that the sound quality SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
UUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!... ahem. But I'm not one to dismiss the quality of a song because of the quality of its recording! If one really takes the time to listen to this, they can get a whole lot out of it! The play between guitars is sweet. If it was a little less staticy, I think I could listen to it all day long. But until that faithful day, I shall leave it with two listens, a 5, and a review. I bid you adieu, sir.

SensoryDecay responds:

Ahh, Gillenium. I give you many thanks sir. Yes the sound quality blows harder than most women i know, but I thank you kindly for savoring it for the quality withthin the shitty....quality. no pun intended, unless thats not even a pun. Or im just retareded. Anyway thank you for the mad awesome review man, and the 5. You surely kick ass man. I heart you and your music. Keep on keepin on yo. Bamsukka out.

tasty!

Very nice soundscape here. Although, I have to say I liked it much better before all the voice acting kicked in. Sorry if this offends you! But yeah, fantastic job as always, my friend.

LJCoffee responds:

Heh - Thanks Gill!

No offense taken at all - This was part of an exercise that I posted:

http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic.php?id=580135

All of the music was generated in less than 15 minutes using a crude formula and a few stickers - adjusting levels and tweaking filters took longer than the rest :D

As for the voice - It was taken from what was originally made as a comedy/parody that a few of us filmed a few years back - taken out of context though it sounded fairly creepy so I figured what the hell - I'll throw 'em in there and see what happens.

BTW - I still listen to your CD on occasion :D - putting out another anytime soon?

haha, pretty sweet

Argh, the riffs are too chiseled.. They're hurting my ears! Other than that, I really enjoyed it! Never bursts into the orgy of synth and drums I was hoping for, but I loved the play between the synths, even if they were a bit too hard cut. I'd love to hear more of like the parts where the synths go crazy and play for a while. Dunno if you know what I'm talking about.. Keep it up, man!

Kid2Will responds:

Thanks Gillenium.

rock'n!!

Ok, here's how it is. I think this could be my favorite song on newgrounds IF you changed a few things. First of all, the small thing. About 3/4 through the song, a guitar came in that was a bit too loud. Tone that mutha down! Ok, here's the big thing. I so wanted this song to rip into an orgy of guitar and awesome drums, but the drums never really exploded. The song leads up to it, but it's not there, dude. I really think it would be worth it to spend a lot of time working on a killer drum sequence to go with this. I mean, the use of Slayer is probably the best I've seen. You just gotta give the guitar some drums that match the intensity of the song. Rocked hard, dude!

Kid2Will responds:

This makes me mad( lol not ur review, i needed a new pair o pants from that), makes me mad since i dont have but the demo of FL, so i couldnt save gir!, lol thanks man, i will try to recreate it, as soon as i go purchase the full version, im gonna change it though, not much. Anyway dude thanks so much for your review =)
