distortiony goodness

I like, I like. Keep it up, I'll be listening. Good sounds and sequence.

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks Gill. I appreciate the review!

I like this

What program(s) do you use? This reminds me a bit of Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2 by... well, if you don't know who made that album, you better look into it ASAP! Great background stuff.

SensoryDecay responds:

Haha, thanks man. I use Sony Acid Pro 5.0. Thanks again.

not too shabby

Pretty good for one of your starting pieces. This sounds like FL to me... so I'll give advice based on that. Some of the sounds are a little off when they hit their high points. I would tune the notes with the tempo knob until they sounded right. And you should consider getting a wav editor to remove interference, like the ticks at the beginning of the sounds that start at the very beginning and continue throughout the song. Keep it up, I think you could become really good. Just remember to use filters and unique samples to create a signature sound!

MTS069 responds:

THANX A LOT. I needed that :)

smooooth

Not exactly ambient (sorry, I'm a huge ambient buff. I'd call yours 'slow trance' :D) but definitely a beautiful piece. Love everything about it. It'd be a shame for you to ever stop making music, so yeah... keep it roll'n.

EN3RGIE responds:

Hey TheNewGillenium! Im glad i got a review from you, the master of ambient music! lol I do agree with you, this is slow trance but hey i thought maybe i could mix it up slow it down and give it a nice twist. Ill keep making music for as long as i can and i hope you do to, your stuff is great!

Thx for your review and score!

bye!

argh, gorgeous

I love compositions. This worked really really well. Make more like this, because I like it! You're gonna have to give me that harmonica soundfont...

Sebby-man responds:

Thanks! Well, if you use reason, in combinator you will find a dirty blues harmonica and guitar split, or something like that. Delete the scream under the harmonica and delete anything else except for the reverb (whether or not there is one, im not really sure, so u might have to make your own ((ALL: Warm Plate under R7000 Reverb is fine)) Put to a good sounding level, and you have a pretty good harmonica). Sorry that i cant just send you the sounfront because i dont know how.

Well i liked the review, you may see another song like this in the future, but i dont like to include the same instruments in any two of my songs, so it may be different than u expect. Ok, well thakns for reviewing!

hey I like it

If you ever want to do a collaberation, give me a shout. I like doing ambient pieces with guitarists. Get a better mic though!

Blaze responds:

I dont need a better mic. What i need, is a better GODDAMN COMPUTER!!! It makes a really disturbing noise (its the vent), which wont let me record much stuff. Even though i set myself really far away from the comp... Anyway, yes id like to work with you. In what, Music, or flash?

good stuff

You have a good sense of music and background. If you fleshed this out into a whole song, it would rule.

Crossofdevil responds:

Yeah thanks Bro!

gorgeous

I really like it. What program do you use? If you say Ejay, I'll be very sad...

T7online responds:

*chuckles* no, dont worry, i didn't use ejay for this song, nor any of my other songs. I use a combo of Cubase and Reason. Rules:o Thanks for the comment.

not the most original thing ever, but...

Still kicked arse. Keep it up.

argh

Sorry, bud. I despise loops. But turn this into a song and I'll 5 it for sure. Sounds pretty nice and I believe it has potential.

Hey everybody. I'm an electronica artist here at Newgrounds. Review and download all my music till your ears start to bleed. Thank you. Oh, and I respond to every review. Every... single... ONE! AGH!
